Dearest 2B,

Time flies! Term 4 has come to an end and it is the start of the long holidays. The only difference is after this, you will probably be in separate classes and entering another phase in your life - the sec 3 and 4.

On the last day of school, I wanted to take time to say some words to all of you. As you probably know by now, that was not possible. So, the next best alternative is through the class blog :)

First of all, give yourself a BIG pat on the back for all of you have improved in some, if not all of your subjects since CT2. I believe all of you have worked very hard for your end-of-year exams, so....CONGRATULATIONS! :)

Secondly, Ms Xie just wants to say a big "THANK YOU" for the joy that you have brought to me for the past 3 months. Though there were not-so-good days, it was still a great experience teaching your class :) My only regret is that I did not know you earlier and could only have 3 months with you!

As you move on to Sec 3 and 4 and to different classes, I hope the friendships that you have made will continue to remain for the rest of your lives. Continue to encourage one another even as you head nearer to the O levels. No matter how clever we are, we always need encouragement from our friends :)

Lastly, the next two years are not going to be easy. However, I have faith that all of you will be able to do well in O levels and enter your dream JC or polytechnic! Persevere and study hard! Remember, your future is in YOUR hands and what you do now will determine your future! During this Dec holidays, revise and work on your weaker subjects. Do not just spend the holidays playing. Two years is not a long time and before you know it, you will be sitting for your O levels. What are you going to do right now to prepare yourself for that?
